Michelle Andrade Bonos
Michelle began teaching open tumbling classes at MFM in 2008. She received her dance training at Dance/Arts Studios Dance & Gymnastics Center in Somerville, where she studied ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, and tumbling. She was also a member and captain of the Horizons Unlimited Dance Company.
With over 20 years of teaching experience, Michelle has instructed students in all forms of dance and tumbling and has coached competitive dance teams to numerous regional and national successes throughout New England.
Michelle continues to share her passion for dance by teaching acrobatic tumbling to children of all ages. In 2014, she expanded her role at MFM by taking on the competitive jazz classes. She remains committed to her own growth as an educator, regularly attending Dance Teacher Intensive programs to further her training.
Michelle is a Certified Acrobatic Arts Instructor in both Modules One and Two, covering Levels Primary through Pre-Professional 3.
Dancers who train through the Acrobatic Arts curriculum develop strong balance, flexibility, strength, and confidence. Michelle’s goal is to provide every student with a safe, encouraging, and fun learning environment where they can grow both physically and artistically.
