Owner/Director/Business Manager
Danielle, granddaughter of Mary Flynn Murphy, is a proud third-generation instructor at MFM Dance Studio, continuing a family tradition of excellence in dance education. She began dancing at just two years old under the guidance of her mother, Sharon Parillo, and has trained extensively with Kathy Kozul, Sharon Parillo, Deidre Mahoney, Barbara Marks, and Mary Flynn Murphy.
As a competitive dancer, Danielle earned numerous overall high-score awards in both solo and group performances, including multiple overall titles and the prestigious Performer of the Year award at a national competition. She was also a longtime member of the New England Repertory Dancers, under the direction of Kathy Kozul, performing in the company's annual production of The Nutcracker. In addition to dance, Danielle was a dedicated cheerleader throughout high school and went on to cheer competitively for four years at Merrimack College.
Since the age of 18, Danielle has shared her passion for dance as an instructor at MFM Dance Studio, teaching both recreational and competitive dancers. She specializes in the studio's 12-and-under program, where her choreography has consistently earned top honors at regional and national competitions. Her innovative work has also been recognized with multiple special awards for choreography.
Danielle is passionate about creating a positive, encouraging environment where every dancer feels supported and inspired. She is committed to helping students build confidence, develop strong technical skills, and discover their own artistry. Honored to carry on her family's legacy, Danielle looks forward to inspiring the next generation of dancers and sharing the joy of dance for years to come.
